Project Overview
KEMSAL supported the Kenya Revenue Authority in improving customs infrastructure and operational readiness by preparing designs, overseeing refurbishment works, and providing supervision support for the delivery of rapid response units and customs station upgrades. The project aligned to Kenya Vision 2030 revenue collection and trade security objectives.

Narrative Description
The construction of four rapid response units and refurbishment of Nadapal Customs Office is intended to mitigate challenges in revenue collection and improve customs monitoring capacity along key trade corridors. The project falls within the national objective of strengthening Kenya’s ability to account for and secure trade-related revenues under Vision 2030.
